We are very much thankful for the foresight of the first generation of entrepreneurs in this region. We salute for forming an association in the year 1956 for the welfare and development of Industry.
The objects of the Association are:
1. To help, organize and uplift small industries, cottage industries and rural industries through mutual co-operation with a view to strengthen by themselves and play their part effectively to increase in the national economy.
2. To express the views of the small industries on all enactments and regulations affecting their trade and business and all Questions of policy which may arise and to seek suitable Representations of Government or Statutory committees, that may be appointed from time to time so as to safeguard the interests of the members in particular and the small industries.
3. To protect the interests of the members in all matters concerning to the industry.
4. To undertake investigations and research work that is calculated to aid the general development and progress of the industries and foster mutual co-operation among them.
5. To publish pamphlets, leaflets, journals and books and to distribute them on free or at cost.
6. To hold periodical conferences or exhibitions in selected centers and carry-on propaganda work for the development of industries.
7. To serve as a bureau of advice and information to the members on all matters relating to industries and to acquire the required from necessary library.
8. Generally to do all such other acts as are conductive to the attainment of any or all of the objects.

Subsequently, so many entrepreneurs become part of the association and served the best. Our leaders of the association actively participated in the formulation of various Industrial policy matters and worked together Different platforms like Banking Sector, Tax sector, statutory sector and others like Indian railways, Consumer forums etc. Our leaders worked not only for development of Industry, on a whole for the development of entire state too. Our governing bodies also participated in the Industrialization among Andhra Pradesh by developing Public-Private industrial Estates and Private industrial Estates depending on the need and demand of Industrialization. From time to time worked with Government, give suggestion and submits proposals for the development, comments on Industrial policies.
